The Jesse Minute is a five-piece rock band with punk influences hailing from the Providence, RI area. Having spent a large part of years previous looking for people with the right outlook, experience, chemistry and talent, the band officially formed in May of 2006 and has been dedicated to writing new and original music ever since.
The current lineup consists of: Missa (Vocals), Brian (Guitar left), Jimmy (Guitar right), Sean (Bass) and Shaun (Drums). The bands collective list of musical influences is huge, but common rock and punk influences include such bands as Veruca Salt, The Alkaline Trio, Green Day, The Bouncing Souls and Letters To Cleo. Though constantly evolving, The Jesse Minute has created a sound with strong female vocals, powerful guitars and a rhythm section that drives the songs like a freight train.
The bands explosive live show has already captured the attention of local venues and promoter’s, securing regular New England appearances. They have already shared the stage with national and regional touring acts such as New York Dolls, Supersuckers, The Charms, Chesterfield Kings, Varsity Drag, The Murder Mile, Envy On The Coast, Southcott, Code 4-15 and The Twilight Collective .Their fan base is continuously growing and the band is looking forward to refining their sound and expanding their musical reach further and further beyond the Northeast.
