QUAHOG CLAM CAKES 2 cups flour 1 tablespoon sugar 2½ teaspoons baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 egg ½ cup whole milk ½ cup quahog broth ¾ cup chopped quahogs Combine ingredients and fry in a deep fryer.
