a whole lobster Step by step instructions for eating a whole lobster: (from upper, left) 1. Turn the cooked lobster its back. Run the point of a sharp, heavy knife into the lobster, splitting it from head to tail; 2. Separate the head from the body by twisting apart with your hands. 3. Loosen the cracked shell around the tail and gently remove the meat. 4. Separate claws and legs at joints, then use crackers to break open the shell and extract the meat. 5. Split the head completely in half to remove tomalley, roe and small nuggets of lobster meat from the sides. |
