6/24/96 From Korea
I'm a graduate student in Ph.D. course at KAIST in Korea. I'm a
chemical engineering major.
KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is the
top science and engineering education and research institution
in Korea.
Here, we have a special program that invite some specialists around the world in the field of environment, especially oil spill.
We are now funded for this program. (We can support at least 7 days residence and research here, and 6 months for maximum.)
And now I'm interested in the method to remove the spilled oil by dispersing the oil into very fine oil-particle so as to be easily attacked by bacteria. Key point is the dipersant which can cause toxicity to marine life. I want to design environment-friendly dispersant.
I hope you can give me useful informations or recomandation of
suitable persons relating to these topics.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon....
Sincerely yours,
Kim Jong-Yun from Korea....
