'If anyone has any insight, I would love to hear from them'
I'm sitting at home in Dallas, Texas, reading in horror on my computer, about how this spill has destroyed the delicate ecosystem of the Rhode Island coast. I am originally from Cranston, and since moving to Texas in 1980, have always made the trip to Narragansett when visiting family in Rhode Island. The beach is my favorite place in the world and regard lobster as food from the gods!! We are in the midst of planning a summer vacation to Block Island. What will be the condition of the shellfish?? Will the beaches be contaminated?? Does anyone know for sure?? If anyone has any insight, I would love to hear from them. Thanks. Mark R. LaChapelle (lachapel@onramp.net)
