Business Recovery Center: This office will process state and federal loan applications, information on insurance claims, unemployment benefits and welfare and other services. Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Location: Oliver Stedman Government Center, 4808 Tower Hill Rd. (Route 1), South Kingstown. Phone: 1-800-261-2071 or 782-6048.Insurance claims: Today is the last day at current location, where representatives of the Water Quality Insurance Syndicate will hand out information on claims for work and other losses. (Information will continue to be available at Business Recovery Center and by phone). Location: Holiday Inn, Tower Hill Road, South Kingstown. Phone: 1-800-995-4045. Food: Jonnycake Center. Provides emergency food to individuals and families. Also, seeking donations of cash and nonperishable food to meet added demand of oil crisis. Location: 1231 Kingstown Rd., Peace Dale. Phone: 789-1559. Social Services: The South County Community Action program provides food, rent assistance, business training, counseling and other services. Location: 1214 Kingstown Rd., Peace Dale.
