Thanksgiving
1985 HOT TODDY
3/4 cup hot, brewed Constant Comment Tea
1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) rum
1 teaspoon honey
1 lemon wedge
Mix tea, rum and honey. Squeeze in the lemon. Serves 1.
HOT BUTTERED RUM BATTER
1 pound brown sugar
1/4 pound (1 stick) soft butter
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Pinch of salt
Beat sugar and butter together until thoroughly mixed. Beat in spices and salt. Can be stored in refrigerator for several weeks.
