-- Sixty-five lawyers representing victims of The Station nightclub

attended a closed-door status conference in U.S. District Court
yesterday.

PROVIDENCE -- U.S. Attorney Robert C. Corrente has informed the father of a victim of The Station nightclub fire that there are no grounds for a federal investigation into the fire or the scope of a state criminal investigation.

PROVIDENCE -- Federal prosecutors say they've found no evidence of corruption relating to the state's probe of a nightclub fire that killed 100 people, and will not launch a full scale investigation into the matter.

WARWICK -- A proud black stone stands at Abbie Hoisington's grave. Made of granite mined in Africa, it bears the etched likeness of her smiling face on one side and that of an angel on the other.

Town won't touch memorials at The Station site
WEST WARWICK -- Despite several complaints from neighbors, there are no plans to clear away the patchwork of makeshift memorials from the site of The Station nightclub fire, according to Town Manager Wolfgang Bauer.
