Hey Anthony,
Hope you are doing well. Just want to say a big THANK YOU for your bravery and sacrifice in the service of our beloved country. I work just 6 miles from “Ground Zero” in NYC. Being on the “front lines” of the Homefront, we know all too well that freedom does not come free. Guess you could say we’ve “been through the fire” here, yet we carry on each day standin tall with heads high because of our awesome US Military; of which you are a part. May God bless you and all those you love, and return you to them safely and soon. You will remain in my prayers. With my very best wishes,
Pat

Tony, I am so proud of you for the commitment you have made to the military and your family! You have really grown these past few years. Psalms 91 says; He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High (Gods strenth & sovereignty)
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty (El Shaddai, mountain; over power; mighty one). I will say to the Lord (Yahweh), "my refuge and my fortress, My God (Elohim, true God; strong one; mighty leader; supreme deity ) in who I trust!" Tony, He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions (the end joint of a feather) and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark (a defensive wall; protection). You will not be afraid by the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand my fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you! You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense (repay or reward) of the wicked. For you have made the Lord, your refuge, even the Most High , your dwelling place. No evil will befall you Tony, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will give His angles charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, that you don't strick your foot against a stone. You will tread (to press or beat) upon the lion & cobra, the young lion & serpent you will trample (to crush with your feet by walking or dancing) down. Because He loves you Tony, He will deliver you; He will set you securely on high, because you have known Him by name. Call upon Me, and He will answer you; I will be with you in trouble and I will rescue you and honor you. With a long life I will satisfy you and let you see My salvation. God loves you and desires you! Keep up all the hard work and sacrifices, we truely are proud of you. Colette

Thanks to all of you whom have posted thus far. My husband had received a poem shortly before he left and it absolutely touched him. I am posting it here because it is so awesome. The author is unknown.
"I've Got Your Back"
I am a small and precious child,my dad's been sent to fight,,,The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams at night. He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track. I may be sad, but I am proud. My daddy's got your back!
I am a caring mother. My son has gone to war,,,My ming is filled with worries that I have never known before. Everyday I try to keep my thoughts from turning black. I may be scared, but I am proud. My son has your back!
I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband who had to go. There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know. I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack,,,My heart may break, but I am proud. My husband's got your back!
I am a soldier,,,Serving proudly, standing tall. I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call. I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks. Say a prayer that I'll come home. It's me who's got your back

Dear Anthony, I would like to take this opportunity to say how grateful I am for what you are doing in honor of our country. I think our military is the greatest! It just seems that saying thank you is simply not enough for all your diligent work and sacrifices. Please keep in mind that there are many of us who support you 110 percent. You are ALL in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. It is NOT the movie stars, the politicians nor the activists who maintain our freedoms. It is honorable men like you who courageously maintain the freedom of America for us and for our future children and make this country a safer place to live. We are only free because of men like you (both past and present) who put their country first and foremost. For all this, I am eternally grateful to you. You will always have my support, respect and admiration. I pray for all of you to return home safely. Take good care, keep the faith, watch each other’s backs and God Bless you all. annegalvan@aol.com

Dearest Tony, I've read some of your messages and there is nothing left to be said that someone else hasn't already said. We too are a military family as you know. We had 7 children in the service at the same time. The last one, John, just retired after 22 years serving in the Air Force. We believe in your mission - we believe that Freedom isn't FREE. Whatever we have in these great United States is because of men like you who proudly serve and protect. Of course I'd be lying if I said I wanted you to all stay over there - I truly want you home with my daughter and your son. Zach misses you so much - he's your little buddy. Donna is doing fine - she comes from good stock and was raised to appreciate your sacrifice to keep us all safe from the terrorists. Now, all you have to do is keep YOURSELF safe. We love you and send our prayers to you and all of your friends who are there with you. May God bless. Always, from your in-laws. Jean and Bill
