i've known in the flesh a human,
i'd cared for him/her.
and suddenly an -"empty space"-,
he/she went to "HIGHER LIFE".
so many words never been said,
so much 4gotten 2 say.
regrets 4 what's never been answered.....
the connection 4 ever been broken??
i've known in the flesh a human,
i still know him/her.
only the body died,
but i still knows his/her spirit.
never completely separated,
never completely apart.
the sense of humor and the warmth,
i'll keep em in my heart.
i've known in the flesh a human,
i loved this him/her.
i still knows this human,
i can have faith in this.
and when i think of him/her very strongly,
then i can hear him/her.
he/she says:" i didn't die ,
i was just born again"

Todd was one of the finest human beings that I have ever known, I met Todd at work several years ago and we became instant friends. We used to hang out together and went white water rafting together. We spent alot of time working on our cars and he helped me restore my antique car. His love of life was inspiring to me and helped me through a rough time last year. Todd was an usher at my wedding last year also. I once asked Todd why he served in the guard and his responce was " I do this to serve my country and protect the people in it." Todd was a very deep person with a soul to match. he will be truly missed and never forgotten

We are the parents of Scott Keegan, and the future in-laws of Seth Cole, both of the 115th, and both friends of their fallen comrade Sgt. Caldwell. We have heard from both Scott and Seth what a wonderful comrade-in-arms Sgt. Caldwell was, and what a courageous soldier he was as well. Why such brave, wonderful and decent young men have to die is beyond our understanding, but we do want you to know this: At this very minute people you've never even met, throughout America, are praying both for Sgt. Caldwell, and the family he left behind. You are in our prayers and thoughts as well. God bless. ... Jane & Gordon Keegan
