I am so proud of you for what you do. It takes so much bravery and courage to defend our country and the world's rights and freedom. Thank you for all you do for us. I am praying for a safe return for you and all of your buddies.

From Pat Shoukry, New York, NY
Hey Jeffrey,
Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your bravery and sacrifice in the service of our beloved country. I work just 6 miles from "Ground Zero" in NYC. Being on the "front lines" of the Homefront, we know all too well that freedom does not come free. Guess you can say we've been "through the fire here", but we carry on each day standin tall with heads high because of our awesome US Military; of which you are a part. Because you serve, Americans continue to board airliners with confidence and the people in NYC and DC can live without FEAR! Thanks for giving all of your fellow countrymen the gift that we cherish most....our FREEDOM! The Tri-state is real proud of you. May God bless you and all those you love, and return you to them safely and soon. You will remain in my prayers.
With my very best wishes,
Pat

My Dearest Jeffrey ~ I know you don't think you're anything special. I know you say you're just doing your job, what you chose to do. I know you think you're just an ordinary guy, just one soldier in a zillion. Well, you're NOT. And I hope you know that deep down. You may "just" be doing your job, but I KNOW you do it sooooooooooooooo well ... and you work so hard. And maybe you're "just" doing the work you chose, but how many people would choose to do that job, Jeffrey? You believe in what you're doing too ... and not everyone can honestly say that either. *I* believe in you!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU ... for serving our country, but MOST OF ALL for just BEING YOU!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't see it you'll just have to take my word for it, but the world is a better place because you're here, and you've changed my life and SO many other lives ... and I think it's the most wonderful thing that you're God's solider ("I'm in the Lord's army!" hehe) AND an American soldier ... you make me burst with pride. I LOVE YOU JEFFREY!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM PROUD OF YOU FOR JUST BEING YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Yours forever, YOUR Erin Marie ;)

From Mike and Mary Farris, Tonopah, NV
Dear Jeffrey, We're Erin's Uncle and Aunt. Although we've never met or spoken, we feel we truly know your heart through the love and joy that flows from you through Erin. We pray for you and your buddies often - that the Lord would surround you with His hedge of protection, deliver you from the evil One and send as little sorrow as He sees fit into your lives. God bless you, brother, for your courage, bravery and perseverence towards righteousness. Jesus died because He believed it; God sent Him because He knew it; now You live it - One man DOES make a difference! Until the nets are full, Pastor Mike and Mary Farris

We have your magnet picture on the fridge so we can remember to pray for you when we look at your picture. You are keeping those protective angels busy. Thank God for them. Hope to see you soon back in Illinois. God bless. The Smiths

JEFFREY:
YOU DO NOT KNOW ME. I AM THE FELLOW WHO HELPED YOUR FOLKS WITH DAD'S BOW TIE PROJECT. HE LOOKS GREAT IN THEM.
YOUR PARENTS ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND YOU ARE SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE THEM AS SUCH.
YOU AND ALL OF YOUR COMRADES ARE TO BE SUPREMELY COMPLIMENTED AND SUPPORTED INYOUR GIGANTIC AND DANGEROUS TASK. I WAS IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC AS A RADAR OPERATOR ON A B-24 IN WW2. AT LEAST WE KNEW WHO OUR ENEMY WAS AND ATTEMPTED TO ANILATE HIM. IT MUST BE QUITE DISTURBING NOT TO KNOW WHO TO ERADICATE.
GOOD LUCK AND "GOD BLESS"
J.M.NEECE

From Jamie Jones, Nokomis, IL
Jeff, Thanks for doing what you do. Without people like you, we would not be free. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you serving our country. God be with you.

From Cheryl Bennett, Nokomis, IL
Dear Jeffrey, I am not able to comprehend all the sacrifices you and the other troops make on a daily basis. It is easy to take things for granted here. Thank you for putting your life on the line every minute for the good of everyone who lives in the USA. I especially appreciate all the good you are doing for the citizens there. I pray for your safe return to IL! Keep your spirits up and know that you are appreciated and you are making a difference!

From Cheryl Walters, Pana, IL
Jeff, I am thankful for the opportunity to tell you how "special" you are to us, our family, and our country. God has given you much humility and you express it often. You have ALWAYS thought of others first. Serving our country and fighting for our freedom is more than a noble thing to do. It is a call I know you take seriously and THAT is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank you, Jeff for allowing God to use you in this way. We continue to pray for you and those close to you as well as ALL those in the military. God's Speed. My love and prayers, Cheryl Walters (Whit's in Africa until middle of August but I'm sure continues to pray for you too)

From Darlene Anders, Kansas City, MO
