Hey Richard,
Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your bravery and sacrifice in the service of our beloved country. I work just 6 miles from "Ground Zero" in NYC. Being on the "front lines" of the Homefront, we know all too well that freedom does not come free. Guess you can say we've been "through the fire here", but we carry on each day standin tall with heads high because of our awesome US Military; of which you are a part. Because you serve, Americans continue to board airliners with confidence and the people in NYC and DC can live without FEAR! Thanks for giving all of your fellow countrymen the gift that we cherish most....our FREEDOM! May God bless you and all those you love, and return you to them safely and soon. You will remain in my prayers.
With my very best wishes,
Pat

03/15/05 I just wanted to say how proud I am that I live in a country where ppl would go into harms way to keep me from being in harms way. Thank you very much. I have a special friend over in Iraq and I am hoping everyday that all our soliders will return home to their families and friends.... I am a former military wife, we were stationed at fort hood for 2 yr, then he went to Germany and I had to endure 18mths deployment at a time, more than once, and I understand the sacrafice. As always I am keeping all our troops, their families and friends in my thoughts and prayers!

Hi Richard - Greetings from The Winston School Family - another class made it through graduation last Saturday. We have a flag that was flown over Iraq last year and brought back by one of our parents who was stationed there last year.We are having the flag folded into a triangle and framed in a display box and it will be on display in the front of the school in honor of Maj. Peter Reinhardt ( the parent who brougt the flag back) and also in honor of you, Mike Shaw and Richie Flores. I sent you an e-mail earlier today about this. Richard - some sad news - you may already know about this - Mike Shaw's dad passed away May 8th - he came home for the funeral and is now back in Tikrit. Richard - stay safe - we're so very proud of you and the other Winston grads who are serving our country. Godspeed. GO SPURS GO ! Mrs Claire Brown
