• Describe your style simply.
Currently working on a series of paintings exploring baseball and the American Myth.
• What do you buy at the art supply store?
canvas, brushes, oils, acrylic and watercolor paints, paper
• What technical problems intrigue you?
I have recently started working in oils again. For over the last 20 years I have with acrylic as my medium. In my new series of baseball paintings I am using a palette knife to achieve strong texture - not possible in acrylic.
• Among your own work, what is your favorite piece? Where is it now?
"Voyage to Venus" In the NASA Space Art Collection at the Cape Kennedy Space in Florida
• What impressions do you want others to take from your work?
A feeling of having experienced something special. A deeper understanding of me and a respect for my craft.
