Celtics should fear LeBron in decisive Game Seven
08:31 AM EDT on Saturday, May 17, 2008
CLEVELAND -- LeBron James has clearly settled into a groove in this series. He may not be dominating, but after a 35-point effort in Game Five, he delivered with 32 points last night. He had 13 points in an ugly first half but dominated his team’s attack in the second half. He went for 19 of the Cavaliers’ 32 points and had three of the team’s five assists. He made seven of the team’s 12 field goals.
“It’s either win or go home. I’m not ready to go home,” he said. “I just wanted to come out and be aggressive. I thought about Game Five, how un-aggressive I was in the third quarter. They took advantage of that.”
The Celtics, and their fans, should be leery of James in a Game Seven situation. “It’s going to be electrifying. We’ll have to give it all we got. This is really a life or death situation for both teams. Everybody prepares in the off-season to play into June and I know I prepared to play into June. You’ve got to give it all you got.”
