Bath Iron Works Awarded $21 Million Contract for Lead Yard Services on the DDG 51-class AEGIS Destroyer Program

BATH, Maine, July 2 -- The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics , a $20.7 million contract to provide ongoing Lead Yard Services for the DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-class AEGIS destroyer program. EDS Subsidiary Awarded $148 Million CMS Contract for Medicare Administrative Services to Northwest

HERNDON, Va., July 2 -- EDS today announced that the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded its subsidiary, NHIC, Corp., a $148 million contract to administer Part A and Part B Medicare claims payments to health care providers in four northwestern states. Southwest Airlines Reports June Traffic

DALLAS, July 2 -- Southwest Airlines Co. announced today that the Company flew 6.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in June 2008, a 0.7 percent increase from the 6.8 billion RPMs flown in June 2007. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased 5.7 percent to 8.8 billion from the June 2007 level of 8.3 billion. The load factor for the month was 78.2 percent, compared to 82.1 percent for the same period last year.

Dominion Announces Sale of Two Natural Gas Utilities for $910 Million

RICHMOND, Va., July 2 -- Dominion today announced that it plans to sell its Dominion Peoples and Dominion Hope natural gas distribution companies to Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Fund North America (BBIFNA), a San Francisco-based infrastructure fund that owns and manages utilities and other infrastructure assets, for $910 million, subject to changes in working capital and levels of capital expenditures, under an agreement expected to close in 2009.
