Citizens Bank

Matthew T. Daniels, of Providence, has been promoted to senior vice president and director of the business continuity planning office. Daniels is responsible for the development, specifications and governance of 250 business line continuity plans and technology disaster recovery plans. He also is responsible for major incident response functions, providing coordination and direction through any business disruption. He joined the bank in 1999 as vice president and senior technology architect and in 2004 became manager of enterprise strategy and architecture.

Winograd, Shine & Zacks

Melvin L. Zurier, of Providence, formerly of counsel to the law firm of Tillinghast Licht, LLP, has become “of counsel” to the law firm of Winograd, Shine & Zacks, P.C., 123 Dyer St., Providence.

BankRI

Sean O’Rourke, of Warwick, has been named manager of the branch located at 1062 Centerville Road, Warwick. In this position, he will be responsible for the daily operations of the branch, including customer service, staff management, deposit growth and business development. O’Rourke was previously at Webster Bank in Swansea, where he served as a branch manager. He began his banking career in 2004 with Citizens Bank, where he served as a branch manager and a business banking officer.

Jason Quinlan, of Coventry, has joined the bank as retail banking officer and manager of the Buttonwoods branch at 2975 West Shore Road in Warwick. In this position, he will be responsible for the daily operations of the branch, including customer service, staff management, deposit growth and business development. Quinlan began his banking career with Citizens Bank in 2001. Most recently he served as vice president and branch manager for Domestic Bank’s North Kingstown branch.

NetCenergy

Brandee Choquette, of Providence, has joined the firm to head the help-desk function. She will oversee all help-desk calls and scheduling of engineers and technicians. She will also implement the new professional services automation software. Most recently, she served as a customer service representative and project manager for Mercury Print & Mail, and as the executive assistant to the chairman of the board and the vice president of public relations at the Pawtucket Red Sox Baseball Club.

Larry Pokladnik, of Warwick, has joined the firm to lead the telecommunications team. Pokladnik works with clients to build cost-effective network infrastructures. Pokladnik served as a partner in Commport Communications Int’l. for more than five years. Prior to Commport, he worked for telecommunications companies in New York and Rhode Island for more than five years.

John R. Dundas has been named account executive. He is responsible for monitoring market research for new-business development and has a dynamic role in the growth of client correspondence.

Diane Alvarado, of Providence, has been named account representative. She is responsible for developing new and existing accounts by facilitating customer relations through marketing services. She will play an active role in implementing effective advertising strategies.

Margarita Salek, of Newport, has been named graphic designer. She is responsible for creating customized print and online graphics and will design marketing pieces, logos, and presentation material.

VanMillwork

Jennifer Driscoll, of Providence, has joined the firm as marketing director. She has an extensive background in marketing, having most recently served as president and senior consultant of the Bright Idea Group. Additional experience includes marketing coordinator for Steffian Bradley, and marketing specialist for CB Richard Ellis.

William McIntosh, of Burrillville, has joined the firm as territory manager for Connecticut. McIntosh has seven years experience in construction and real-estate development and was most recently a construction supervisor for a new library in Putnam, Conn.
