Coach: Jesse Agel (9-19, 1 year).
Last Season: 9-19 (3-11 Ivy League)
Preseason Poll: Picked 7th out of 8 by Ivy League media.
Ivy League Showdown: Visits from Princeton and Penn comes in just the third and fourth Ivy games.
Nonconference Nightmare: Bears won’t like the sight of Blacksburg, Va., with a date at Virginia Tech on Nov. 15.
Offense: Look for a heavy dose of Mark Mullery, the Ivy’s leading field-goal shooter. Peter Sullivan is a known commodity as a scorer and Adrian Williams owns excellent range. Finding more scoring options is a top priority.
Defense: A more athletic and deeper Bear squad should be able to play more aggressive man-to-man and extend the floor better. Finding more rebounding after Mullery is a key as well. Newcomers Tucker Halpern and Andrew McCarthy need to chip in.
Schedule: Agel isn’t shy with dates versus Virginia Tech, St. John’s, Siena, URI, Providence and Minnesota on tap before Ivy play.
