BOSTON (AP) - The Bruins have signed restricted free agent forwards Martin St. Pierre and Nate Thompson.
Boston acquired St. Pierre's rights from the Chicago Blackhawks in a trade for Pascal Pelletier last week. The 24-year-old St. Pierre played in five NHL games last season and spent time with the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate in Rockford, Ill.
The 23-year-old Thompson played in four NHL games for the Bruins. He has been with the team's AHL affiliate in Providence since 2003. The Alaska native played in 216 AHL games, including 10 playoff contests.
