The Company
Founded in 1964, Trinity Repertory Company is Rhode Island’s largest
arts organization and is considered one of the most respected regional
theaters in the country. Trinity Rep offers an array of productions, from
world premiers and contemporary productions to classic works, such as its
annual production of A Christmas Carol.
The Objective
Trinity wanted to promote its production of Cherry Orchard, which
was being held over for an extended run.
The Approach
An eye-catching Eyeblaster ad with a fixed tile position ran twice on the
projo.com home page two weeks apart for 24 hours each time.
Eyeblasters are large, animated ads that float over the content of a Web
page to grab readers’ attention.
The Results:
Traffic to the Trinity Rep site tripled as a result of the Eyeblaster ads. Richard Jaffe, Trinity’s Director of Sales & Marketing, declared,
“Advertising on projo.com is a great investment for us. Traffic to our Web
site tripled on each of the days we ran an interactive online ad with
projo.com. More traffic means more ticket sales, and the Projo is able to
deliver those visitors to us.”
