In 2004, Brooks Pharmacy acquired over 1,500 Eckerd Pharmacies throughout the South and mid-Atlantic region, making Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy the 4th largest drugstore chain in the country, operating in 18 states. Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy employs over 46,000 people.

The Objective

Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy was looking to hire a pharmacist willing to relocate to North Carolina. With its headquarters in Warwick, RI, Brooks sought local, qualified candidates for this hard-to-fill position.

The Approach

and projo.com online job listings to get the word out about their open position.

The Results

Brooks hired a highly-qualified candidate with 18 years of pharmacy experience who was interested in relocating. Notably, Brooks had also run the same ad campaign with another local metropolitan newspaper, but did not receive half as many responses or qualified candidates from that source.
