YOUR TURN gives you the chance to express an opinion or make an observation about matters of local interest. Letters to the editor and commentary pieces must carry the writer's printed name, signature, address and a telephone number where the writer may be contact during the day. Letters should be 250 words, or less, and may be edited for space and clarity. They are published as space allows. Letters on general issues, statewide and national matters, should be mailed to The Providence Journal, 75 Fountain St., Providence, 02902.
COMMUNITY DIGESTS are published for each community. We are interested in arts and entertainment events, awards, special club happenings, school news such as high school honor rolls, activities for children and notices of coming special meetings. Call, fax, mail or e-mail press releases to our office.
PHOTO REPRINTS of any staff photograph published in The Providence Journal may be purchased. We can make black and white or color prints, but only of those photographs that carry a Journal photo credit line. For details about price, size and how to order photographs, call (401) 277-7007 or e-mail maldrich@projo.com .
